Financing Options
We recommend talking with a local lender early in your home buying process. Local lenders have a broad range of programs and products available, and they also have deep knowledge and understanding of local taxes, prices, and other relevant factors that national lenders may be less familiar with. Discuss your objectives with a local lending expert early on to ensure you pursue the right loan for your goals.
Mortgage Options
There are numerous, ever-changing mortgage options available to home buyers, including conventional mortgages, FHA mortgages, VA mortgages, and others. Each one comes with its own benefits, so contact us to discuss your options and get connected with a local lender!

Additional Resources
Here are two more that may provide assistance on your homebuying journey:
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): The HUD has compiled a number of resources for homebuyers on its homeownership assistance page, including:
Habit for Humanity: This organization helps to build and rehabilitate houses for families in need.
U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Housing: This offers homebuying programs in rural communities.
Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA): The PHFA offers useful homebuyer programs, including downpayment and closing cost assistance, as well as a robust online training portal to educate new buyers. New homebuyers who work through the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency are also eligible for a Mortgage Credit Certificate that allows buyers to claim a tax credit of 20%-50% of their mortgage interest payments each year, up to $2,000!
